That's why our fearless leader Amber Sheppard (yes, I talk about myself in third person for SEO, baby!) presented to two local LGBTQ+ Louisiana nonprofits in December 2024: Queer Northshore and Connect Northshore.

The one-hour virtual webinars presented by Amber Sheppard (she/her) of Sheppard Law PLLC is to help LGBTQIA+ members and allies understand Louisiana law and protections for their chosen families. The webinar was free, but encouraged donations within participant's means to their LGBTQIA+ nonprofit of choice.

45 minutes was dedicated to an engaging power point presentation and 15 minutes for Q+A.
